Guess what arrived here in the Philippines! Mochi Creme ^___^ You heard it right. It's scattered around sm malls nationwide and one of which is at SM The Block.
First thing that will caught your eyes will be a girl wearing a colored wig (at The Block, she's wearing a purple wig) standing in a very cute pink and green cart. That's when you'll realize she's supervising a Mochi Creme cart! :P
(Sorry for the blurry and low quality pictures of the cart and the menu)
Mochi Creme is a Japanese ice cream made from mochi (pounded sticky rice) with an ice cream filling. Since 4 flavors were only available that time ,which are purple yam, chocolate, black sesame and green tea, I ordered the purple yam and my friends ordered the chocolate.
The first bite, it was already a heavenly feeling. The mochi was chewy and it was properly made that its consistency was just right and not overly done. The ice cream, of course, is so cold and sweet perfect for the hot weather. It's really sweet which I really appreciate and it wasn't messy to eat it until the last bite.
For me, my P60 was worth it and I can't wait to try the other flavors. And it's official! Mochi Creme is my new favorite ice cream dessert! :)
P.S. All in this cart was really cute like the menu, the table and the packaging!
Its cart at The Block is located at the 2nd flr. beside the escalator near the exit to the sky garden.
